ABA sells its D.C. building to Chicago real estate company

Bar Association cites need for efficiency as reason for plan to move 223 Washington staffers from current 15th Street building The American Bar Association has sold its Washington, D.C., building, located just one block away from the White House, to an entity controlled by the Chicago-based real estate investment firm The John Buck Co., ABA announced in a news release. ABA sold the building for $69.25 million, according to an association spokesman.
